I'm spinning up some combed top that I bought a few years ago from Aurelia Wool & Weaving. I've got 250g of NZ Halfbred in the colorway "Nepal".
.
I have no actual plans for this yarn, so I'm just spinning the single that my fingers like best. Although I am trying to increase the twist. I think I'll be happier with the finished yarn if I add a bit more twist.
.
I love the colors in this top. There's three reds: an orangy red, and two bluish reds. Some periwinkle and some olive.
.
For some reason, I was thinking of the 1969 Tommy Roe hit "Dizzy" when I started writing this post. My dad always played the "oldies" station on the radio on Saturdays - the "oldies" still pop out of my brain on occasion!
